PDU numbers are listed in small print on each course completion certificate.
Participants may request Stanford University CEU credit for SAPM
courses at $75 per course. Two CEUs are issued per course. CEUs are
usually requested by the participant at the time of course registration,
and are earned at the completion of each course. The SAPM program
office will process CEU requests at the end of each Stanford academic
quarter, approximately December 31, March 31, June 30, and September

Extensions of Online Registration
Participants are given 90 days to complete each online course. An
additional 90 day period is issued for each additional course for
which a participant registers. For example, a participant registering
for one course receives 90 days of access; a participant registering
for three online courses in one registration receives 270 days access.
A participant may request one 90-day extension in order to complete
each course.
Access to Online Courses for On-Campus Participants
Approximately one month after completion of each on-campus course,
on-campus participants will be given 30 days of access to the then-current
online version of the respective course, if there is an online version
of the course available. The access given to the participant will
not necessarily be for the same version of the course they had completed
one month prior, as courses are constantly being updated and it takes
time to get newly recorded courses available for Web access.
On-Campus Participant Guidelines
Attendance
Participants must attend the entire course to receive a completion certificate. An absence of up to 30 minutes total may be excused by the Program Manager. For any absence greater than 30 minutes, the participant will be required to do a make up assignment. For any absence greater than 90 minutes, the participant will be required to view the entire online version of the class and pass the online final exam before the completion certificate will be awarded.

For any courses being taped for future online presentation, participants
will be asked to sign a video release form. Any participant not wishing to sign the video release will be asked to sit in the rear corner of the room to ensure that his/her image will not be captured on tape.
Graduation
Prior to a participant’s
final course, s/he will be sent, via e-mail, a program graduation
kit. The kit must be completed and returned to the program office 15 calendar days prior to the beginning of the on-campus session so that graduation plaques can be made in time for distribution at the appropriate in-session graduation reception. Upon graduation,
the participant may use the designation of SCPM (Stanford Certified
Project Manager) behind his/her name on correspondence and business
cards.
Online Participant Guidelines
Final Exams
Online participants are asked to complete a final exam at the completion
of each course, to maintain the integrity of the Program. Upon passing
the respective exam, a completion certificate will be mailed to the
participant.
Graduation
After a participant
completes his/her final course, including passing the exam, s/he
will be sent, via e-mail, a program graduation kit. Upon completion
and return of the kit to the program office, a graduation plaque
will be produced within 30 days. The participant may choose to receive
the plaque in the mail, or to attend an upcoming on-campus graduation
reception at SCPD's expense.
The participant may
bring a guest to the reception for $25. Upon graduation, the
participant may use the designation of SCPM (Stanford Certified
Project Manager) behind his/her name on correspondence and business
